Startup Console
The modification is started by default with the "Westeros_DS" in the Westeos_DS folder. A console application is included with the modification to perform the repair function, to change the language in the game or to switch the hotseat mode on and off. This can be accessed via "Settings" in the folder Westeros_DS.
The console application should always be started as administrator (right click: Run as administrator) as write and delete permissions are required.
The console provides the following choices:
(1) Start "Westeros: Total War" (Singleplayer)
Launches "Westeros Total War ~ Dunkle Schwingen" in single player mode. Multiplayer campaigns cannot be started in this mode.
(2) Start "Westeros: Total War" (Multiplayer)
Starts "Westeros Total War ~ Dunkle Schwingen" in multiplayer or hotseat mode. Singleplayer campaigns cannot be started in this mode.
(3) Repair and clean
The repair routine deletes and optimizes data, which often helps to solve problems with the modification.
(4) End
Exits the console without performing any action
To make a selection, enter the corresponding number of the desired option and confirm with Enter. It is not necessary to manually change or move data to switch between single player and hotseat versions.
